Craft workshops and products
By rotating the work of guests in our different workshops is an excellent way to stimulate and develop their potential
Paper rebirth
From selected sources, waste paper sheets arrive at the workshop, which are then reduced to small pieces and macerated. To this mixture, fragments of 'egg cartons' are added, which act as a glue due to their high cellulose content and, at the same time, act as a colouring agent due to their chromatic variety. The amalgam is passed through a sieve and dried on drying racks. Thus are born: refined greeting cards for every occasion, elegant notepads, cards for sophisticated restaurant menus, various labels. Their totally manual processing with recycled materials makes these products environmentally friendly and protects natural resources.
Wonderland
Pieces of various fabrics, supplied by selected companies, are cut into patterns and filled with wadding, transforming themselves into: gnomes and elves, puppets and dolls, angels and marionettes, small and large animals, bags for sweets or containing fragrant dried flowers. The organic soap blocks, shaped with patience and meticulousness, become roses, gardenias, daisies and lilies to form scented flower arrangements. On request, they take various forms to decorate gift baskets and party favours for all kinds of ceremonies. Imagination and inventiveness in creation make these products refined, original and personalised.
Computing to create
Computers with facilitated keyboards, printers, tablets and other computer tools support visual sensory stimulation for the recognition and differentiation of colours and objects. Listening to sounds and music is aimed at auditory stimulation for therapeutic purposes of relaxation. Typing on the keyboard and use of the mouse aids manual dexterity. The goal is to achieve as much independence as possible in navigating the web in search of images and texts and then assembling them logically. The final aim is the transcription of lists and various texts for greeting cards as well as the participation in the creation of the monthly newsletter and the composition of the Agape facebook page.
